Canna ‘Barbara Hallman’ is a medium sized Crozy Group cultivar; dark foliage, oval shaped, arching habit; round stems, coloured green; flowers are open, cream streaked with pale-rose, staminodes are medium size, edges frilled deep pink, stamen is saffron-yellow, style is saffron-yellow, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not true to type, not self-pollinating.
Our earliest reference to this specimen is Canna News, 2005, attributing the cultivar to Mr Hallman.
