Canna TURBAL is a small Crozy Group cultivar; green foliage, ovoid shaped, branching habit; flowers are open, yellow speckled with red, staminodes are medium size, edges irregular, stamen is yellow, petals green, fully self-cleaning, good bloomer, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white; tillering is average.

This lovely true dwarf cultivar has a sturdy habit and green foliage. The flowers are in nicely rounded heads. Each individual flower is like a flattened trumpet with petals that do not quite overlap. The basic colour is clear buttercup-yellow with dainty red spotting. One of the creations of Ernest Turc.
