Canna ‘Espresso Festival’ is a medium sized Crozy Group cultivar; green and purple variegated foliage, oval shaped, maroon margin, spreading habit; oval main stems, coloured purple; flowers are open, self-coloured pink, staminodes are medium size, edges regular, petals red with farina, fully self-cleaning, outstanding bloomer, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules round; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white and purple; tillering is prolific.

Summary: A new variety developed by Far East Plant Corporation in the Philippines. This variety is remarkable for its foliage. The foliage is green/red and shiny. The flowers are medium sized and bright pink. It blooms continuously from August onwards in Northern Europe.
