Canna ‘Golden Frills’ is a small Crozy Group cultivar; green foliage, ovoid shaped, transparent margin, branching habit; clusters of flowers are cupped, gold speckled with red, staminodes are medium size, edges frilled, petals green, fully self-cleaning, outstanding bloomer, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white and pink; tillering is average.
