(M) This lovely old cultivar has large, pale apricot-salmon flowers with ‘toothy’ petals. The foliage is bronze. It was raised by Vilmorin-Andrieux in 1920 and is available from a few specialist nurseries.

(S) This is another new introduction from Ernest Turc. The flowers are large and gently ruffled giving an opulent effect. The overall colour is a deep apricot that is overlaid with brushstrokes of light red, creating a dazzling light orange effect. The foliage is green but with a bronze sheen and purple veins.
