(M) This is one of the best deep pinks with dark foliage. The sugar-pink flowers have darker spotting in the throat and a fine red margin to each of the petals. Narrow petals that do not overlap give the flower a light, airy effect. It has bronze foliage. Becoming more widely available in Britain and Europe.

The foliage has a wide burgundy secondary margin, giving the leaves the look of having been scorched by the sun, hence its name.

Summary: A distinctive medium sized, green leaved cultivar with peachy pink blooms.
Size: Over 1m (3’3″), a strong clumper throwing many stems.
Flower: Peachy pink, narrow staminoides with small gold ticks on the tube end of the labellum. The stamen is gold with pink tick marks and the pistil is solid gold.
Foliage: Green, going towards dark green, and with traces of dark colouring on the reverse. The rim is a bold purple that blends into the green.
