Canna ‘Triumph’ is a small Crozy Group cultivar; green foliage, oblong shaped, spreading habit; round main stems, coloured green; flowers are open, self-coloured scarlet, staminodes are medium size, edges regular, petals red, fully self-cleaning, good bloomer, flowers in July until frosts in northern temperate zone, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white and pink; tillering is average.

Not to be confused with C. ‘Triomphe’, which was a later introduction. Featured in the 1907 and 1908 RHS Canna Trials, but without award.
