Canna ‘Yara’ is a small Crozy Group cultivar; green foliage, oval shaped, spreading habit; round main stems, coloured green; flowers are open, yellow with red spots, throat yellow, staminodes are medium size, edges regular, petals yellow, fully self-cleaning, outstanding bloomer, flowers in until frosts in northern temperate zone, blooms open in the early morning; fertile both ways, not known if true to type, not self-pollinating, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured white and pink; tillering is prolific.

Summary: Vigorous small clumper, pale green ovate leaves and yellow flowers with delicate pale red spots. Great on the patio deck or in the border.
Size: Height of foliage 0.5m. Vigorous clump former.
Flower: Yellow flowers with delicate pale red spots. Started flowering 28th May 2003 in Claines, our first flowerer this year.
Foliage: Pale green ovate leaves, with a thin white rim.
